Essential Oils
Essential oils are the essence of the plant material produced by distilling via steam or by hand and/or mechanical pressing. The oils are concentrated, volatile and contain complex constituents which are pleasing, healing and uplifting.
Essential oils can be blended to create not only a unique fragrance, but to enhance each individual oils inherent principles. Each oil description contains a list of "compatible" oils where applicable.
Essential oils are sold by volume not by weight. One true weight ounce of of a "light" essential oil such as Citrus will not fit into a one ounce amber round bottle. By the same token, one true weight ounce of a "heavy" essential oil such as cedarwood will not fill a one ounce amber round. It is due to this reason we sell by volume.
